This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 71 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal against the judgment dated 26.12.2022 in S.T.C.No.43/2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.1, Erode.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
