ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner property, comprised in Patta No.106, disputed Survey No.204/11, 204/2, 204/4, 204/6 and 204/9, covering 2 Acres and 47 cents, situated at Semmambadi Revenue village, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai district, on the date of the survey of the petitioner's land on the representation dated 07.06.2024 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the first respondent and perused the materials placed on record. There is no representation on behalf of the second respondent.

3. It is seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent in respect of the subject property. Therefore, if the petitioner submits appropriate application with requisite fees to the Revenue Department to survey the subject property and if any surveyor is engaged to survey the property and if any obstruction at the hands of the second respondent or any other neighbours while surveying the property, the surveyor can very well seek for police protection before the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the first

respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
