Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent in order No.L.C./P.R.O./W.P.No.26618/2008 dated 12.6.2009 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant permanent approval to the petitioner trust as Distance Education Study Centre at Perambalur immediately.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order of the 1st respondent dated 12.6.2009 and to direct the respondents to grant permanent approval to the petitioner trust as Distance Education Study Centre at Perambalur.

2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the writ petition may be closed, giving liberty to the petitioner, to approach the authorities concerned by way of a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents and on such submission, the authorities concerned may be directed to dispose of the same.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents along with a copy of this order to the authorities concerned within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the authorities concerned shall consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks thereafter. No Costs.
