2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. This writ petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's Second Appeal No.12561 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 and to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner and pass orders.

4. The petitioner made an application to the third respondent on 15.05.2024 under Section 6(1) of the RTI Act seeking certain information. The third respondent furnished incomplete and wrong information. Therefore, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent under Section 19(1) of RTI Act, 2005 on 02.07.2024. The second respondent also did not furnish the information to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner preferred the second appeal before the first respondent on 24.09.2024. Though morethan six months have lapsed, there was no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner was constrained to file the above writ petition for the above relief.

5. It is seen that the petitioner filed a second appeal on 24.09.2024, and 3/6

the second respondent has kept the said appeal pending for more than six months. In view of the said fact, I am inclined to direct the first respondent, to dispose of the petitioner's second appeal dated 24.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
