..Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the orders passed by him in Letter No.41068/B4/2008, dated 01.6.2011 and Memo No.29882/B4/2014, dated 05.11.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to upgrade the petitioner as Lecturer with effect from 20.12.2000 with all monetary and service benefits. ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the orders passed by him in Letter No.41068/B4/2008 dated 01.6.2011 and Memo No.29882/B4/2014 dated 05.11.2015 and quash the same and to direct the respondents to upgrade the petitioner as Lecturer with effect from 20.12.2000 with all monetary and service benefits.

2.Now a Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed for an Ad Interim injunction, restraining the respondents from withholding the notional promotion as Executive Officer (Selection Grade). 3.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition and the Writ Miscellaneous Petition are taken up together for hearing today.

4.Heard the learned counsel for both the parties. 5.Now, the petitioner appears to have retired from service and therefore, he can make a representation to the first respondent within a reasonable period of time. 6.Hence, the Petitioner shall make a representation as stated above within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the same within a period of six weeks thereafter. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
