By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Bar Attender by the District Manager-II in Shop No.1960 in Tiruppur on 17.02.2004. Thereafter, he was transferred to Shop No.2290 on 28.05.2010. While so, the second respondent, by order dated 30.04.2015 terminated the service of the petitioner on the ground that he had not passed eighth Standard. Aggrieved by the order of the second respondent, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the first respondent on 25.05.2015. Since it was not considered immediately, he has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 25.05.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken by him to the petitioner.
