The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.06.2022 by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A), 506(ii) IPC and 5(l) r/w 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 in Crime No.7 of 2022, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner is alleged to have committed penetrative sexual assault on the victim girl aged about 6 years.
3. On perusal of the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. reveals that the victim girl is aged about 6 years. The petitioner had taken the victim girl and had penetrative sexual assault on the victim girl.
4. Therefore, the petitioner has committed very serious and heinous offence as against the minor victim girl and this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
