Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1 to fix the seniority of the employment in the appropriate category of employment Code No.032.20 in the employment registration of the petitioner No.W/4976/ 1994 by giving effect of seniority on the registration dated 18.8.1994 and further to direct the both respondents for the error and wrongful commitment of registering the petitioner name in the irrelevant category of employment and to pay Rs.5 lakhs as compensation to the petitioner.

O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to fix the employment seniority of the petitioner in the appropriate category.
2. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that she belongs to Most Backward Community and completed Diploma course in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
registered her educational qualifications in the Employment Exchange. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner could not able to get an opportunity of Sponsorship for employment.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents state that during the relevant point of time in the year 1991, the Sponsorship was made in respect of the employment registrations. Thus, the name of the petitioner was not considered as she has not reached the Seniority.
4. May that it be. This Court is of the considered opinion that during the relevant point of time, the petitioner has not reached seniority and as of now she is aged about 49 years, she is not eligible for public employment. Thus, the relief as such sought for at this length of time cannot be granted.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
