O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for punishing the respondents for having not obeyed the order of this Court dated 20.07.2021 passed in W.P.No.3261 of 2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader (HR&CE) appearing for the Respondents 2 & 3 that in Paragraph No.5 of the Status Report filed by the 3rd respondent in the Writ Petition, it has been wrongly mentioned that S.No.351/5 is a Temple Poramboke, but, however, there is no encroachment on the Temple land.

3. On a perusal of the report of the Tahsildar filed before this Court, S.No.351/4 belongs to the Temple and S.No.351/5 does not belong to Temple and it has been allotted to five persons. However, in a Contempt Petition, we cannot go into all these aspects, by conducting a roving enquiry, especially when S.No.351/5 is stated to be Natham 2/4

Poramboke and a portion of it has been allotted to one Thaiyilammal, who is a landless poor.

4. In view of the afore-stated position, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
