ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to enquire into the matter and register case as against the concerned persons on the basis of complaint dated 03/12/2014 lodged by the petitioner, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen that wife is the complainant and the petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.327/2014. It is also represented that the opposite party has been granted anticipatory bail by the competent court.

4. Hence, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation in CSR No.327/2014 and act in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
