ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 06.09.2008, 13.05.2012, 16.07.2013, 03.11.2014 and 02.07.2015 for effecting annual

increment from 2006.

3. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Record Clerk on 26.02.1981 and at present he is working in Cash Section at CMBT of the respondent-Corporation.

4.The petitioner would state that he was given annual increment periodically upto 2006. Thereafter, the respondent without any intimation, stopped the payment of annual increment after 2006.

Therefore, he made representations dated 06.09.2008, 13.05.2012, 16.07.2013, 03.11.2014 and 02.07.2015 to the respondent. Since they were not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

5. Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Soundar Raj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Udayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

6. Though the petitioner, prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken by them to the petitioner.

7. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
