ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider petitioner representation, dated on 10.08.2021 for patta name in favour of petitioner's property situated No.6/82C, New No.137, Bazzar Street, Guruvarajapetai, Arakonam Taluk,

Ranipet District - 631101 Sembedu Panchayath, Guruvarajapet Village Natham Survey.No.309/1D, total extent of land 1 1⁄2 cent and village Natham Survey.No.301/1 extent of 1 1⁄2 cent belongs to Government poramboku land altogether 3 cents within the time prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

Heard Mr.K.Durai Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.

The petitioner submitted an application on 10.08.2021 for issuance of Patta in respect of the property situated at No.6/82C, New No.137, Bazzar Street, Guruvarajapetai, Arakonam Taluk, Ranipet District - 631101 Sembedu Panchayath, Guruvarajapet Village Natham Survey.No.309/1D, total extent of land 1 1⁄2 cent and village Natham Survey.No.301/1 extent of 1 1⁄2 cent belongs to Government poramboku land altogether 3 cents.

Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that on receipt of the said application, the second respondent conducted an enquiry. On the enquiry, it was found that the land comprised in Survey No. 309/1D stands in the name of the Third parties i.e. Kannayan and Nadhamuni and in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 301/1, it is classified as Water Body. However, the enquiry is pending. 5.

Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
