O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.9 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mettur within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.9 of 2013 is over, but the Special Court for Anti-Land Grabbing Cases, Salem is not accepting the final reports, in view of the stay granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in connected matters.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, namely, Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mettur within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such filing, the learned Magistrate is directed to take the same on file and pass orders in accordance with law.
