ORDER

The order of suspension issued in proceedings dated 04.12.2013 is challenged in the present writ petition.

2. The petitioner was holding the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture during the relevant point of time during the year 2013 and on initiation of departmental disciplinary proceedings, he was placed under suspension, on the ground that grave charges regarding irregularities, malpractice of Government money and lapses in his duties were traced out. Even at the time of filing of the writ petition, the petitioner was aged about 55 years and the petitioner reached the age of superannuation during the pendency of the writ petition and on the event of his retirement, an order would have been passed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the competent authority either extending his service by not allowing him to retire or otherwise.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner reached the age of superannuation during the pendency of the writ petition, he is at liberty to pursue the matter in the manner known to law and in the impugned order lost its relevence.

4. With these liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
