ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to amendment of Rule 4 Sub Rule (b) of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Engineering Sub Ordinate Service vide G.O.Ms.No.202, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E3) Department dated 01.12.2020 issued by the first respondent and quash the same insofar as it relates to the petitioner by seeking to do away with qualification of Diploma in Civil Engineering for promotion to the post of Overseer from the feeder category of Road Inspector.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner filed a letter dated 28.11.2023 seeking permission of this Court to withdraw the above Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition has been listed today under the caption for "withdrawal". When the matter is taken up, the learned Page No.2 of 4

counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to permit him to withdraw this Petition and he made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the letter dated 28.11.2023 and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
