Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 2nd respondent relating to the birth certificate No.0414/2018/H2 dated 13.02.2018 relating to the registration of birth of the petitioner and to quash the entry with regard to the date of birth of the petitioner and for a consequential direction to the respondents to make necessary corrections as to the date of birth of the petitioner in the relevant Register as well as in the Birth Certificate issued to the petitioner as 13.08.1954 instead of 16.08.1954.

ORDER

This writ petition was admitted on 09.07.2018 and rule nisi was ordered to be issued returnable in eight weeks. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 19.09.2018, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought for adjournment to enable her to get further instructions.

2. Today, when the writ petition came up for hearing, Mr.S.Marimani, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this court to withdraw the writ petition, however, with liberty to approach the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to ventilate her grievance before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
