Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to forthwith survey and to fix the boundaries for the lands of the petitioner's husband comprised in Survey Nos.95/9 and 95/6 respectively, situated at Pattakurichi Village, Titagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering and passing orders on the statutory application of the petitioner dated 05.05.2014.

Special Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to survey and to fix the boundaries for the land in Survey Nos.95/9 and 95/6 respectively, situated at Pattakurichi Village, Titagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering and passing orders on the statutory application of the petitioner, dated 05.05.2014. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondent. 3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the owners of the property in Survey Nos.95/9 and 95/6 respectively, situated at Pattakurichi Village, Titagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District. The petitioners made applications to the respondent, on 05.05.2014, to survey and fix boundaries to the petitioners lands.However, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, this writ petition is filed with the above said prayer. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners representations, dated 05.05.2014, and pass orders within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Court.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that thepetitioners representations, dated 05.05.2014, will be considered by the respondent within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Court. 6.This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directed the respondent to consider the petitioners representations, dated 05.05.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to the aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, these Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
