Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to complete the construction of drain at Patti Street in Vikkravandi Town Panchayat from Keezh Mada Street to Kakkan Nagar Magain Road as per the work order of the third respondent in Na.Ka.284/2023/A1 dated 21.9.2023 and based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.2.2024.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Heard Mr.C.Rajaguru, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. The prayer made in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to complete the construction of drain at Patti Street in Vikkaravandi Town Panchayat from Keezh Mada Street to Kakkan
Nagar Main Road as per the work order of the third respondent dated 21.9.2023 and based on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.2.2024 within the stipulated time.
3. Learned Government Advocate submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.2.2024 would be considered by the authorities on merits, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. The said submission is recorded.
4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly, with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.2.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, of course after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
