ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2014 in C.S.R.No.594/2014, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. From a perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the petitioner has made a complaint that the opposite party has received a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- for getting medical admission and cheated him.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petition enquiry in CSR No.594/2014 was conducted and closed. Since the complaint discloses the commission of cognizable offence, the petitioner is given liberty to file a fresh complaint to the respondent police, in the event of which, the respondent police shall enquire into it and register the case in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
