ORDER

Seeking a direction to the third respondent police to register the FIR lodged by the petitioners dated 01.12.2014, they have come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On reading of the complaint, it appears that even according to the petitioners, they had sold silk sarees to the opposite parties in wholesale over a period of time and the opposite parties have made payments. Now, it is alleged that the opposite parties have taken the sarees in bulk and have not paid to the petitioners. On the face of it, this complaint appears to be civil in nature. That apart, ten persons have joined together and lodged a complaint. Such a complaint is not maintainable. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out the remedies in the manner known to law by filing individual complaints.
