This petition is came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.6447 of 2002 from the file of Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying this Court to call for the records of the proceedings of the second respondent in No.23015/ES3/dated 18.07.02 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the second respondent in consultation with the first respondent to include the name of the applicant in the appropriate place in the panel of Grade I Warders fit for promotion as Chief Head Warder for the year 2001-2002 communicated in proceeding No.23015/ES3/2002 dt. 27.6.02 in the Prison Department and direct the second respondent to appoint the applicant herein is concerned.

ORDER
This writ petition came on transfer from the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal.
2. The petitioner approached the then Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal seeking to quash the impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent dated 18.07.2002, to direct the second respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the panel of Grade I Warders fit for promotion as Chief Head Warder of the year 2001-2002 communicated in proceedings No.23015/ES3/2002 dated 27.06.2002 in the Prison Department and to direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as Chief Head Warder retrospectively.
3. When the matter was listed on the last occasion on 13.03.2015, no one appeared for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court, in an effort to give one more opportunity, directed the registry to list the matter under the caption "For Dismissal".
