ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.07.2021 for the offences under Sections 376, 417 and 506(ii)of I.P.C in Crime No.6 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are lovers. It is alleged that the defacto complainant had sexual intercourse with the petitioner by administering sedative drugs. Subsequent intercourse is by threat by showing some obscene photos of the defacto complainant. Hence the complainant.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the nature of offence committed by the petitioner is a heinous one. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
