O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 3rd respondent to take immediate action, pursuant to the communication issued by the District Collector, Udhagamandalam on 05.04.2019.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he has been excommunicated from the village and therefore he had made a complaint before the concerned authority. The 1st respondent, District Collector on receipt of the complaint, by his letter dated 05.04.2019, has directed the 2nd and 3rd respondents to take action and to report before the office of the District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Collector. Since no action has been taken by the 2nd and 3rd respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to immediately act upon the communication made by the 1st respondent District Collector, Udhagamandalam, by his letter dated 05.04.2019 and make enquiries through the local Police Station within whose jurisdiction the petitioner is residing and take action in accordance with law. This process shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
