This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to refrain from laying a road, across the petitioner's lands in SF No. 426/2, 426/3, 426/4, 426/5, 426/7, Morur Bit 2 Village, Sankri Taluk, Salem District.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted that pending writ petition, the petitioner herein filed an application for modification of the lay out, which has also been approved by the authorities. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner has also executed Gift Deed in favour of the second respondent gifting the road as well as the earmarked area for public purpose.

3. In view of the subsequent development, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
