This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent to register the case against the complaint preferred by the petitioner on 25.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent.

3. It is alleged by the petitioner that the opposite party has produced rental agreement in a forged stamp paper in R.C.O.P.No.1222 of 2013 on the file of the X Small Causes Court, Chennai.

4. Under such circumstances, if there is finding given by the Rent Control Court that agreement found therein is a forged one, then it is open to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint thereafter.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is closed.
