PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in his proceedings No.V.No.A1/023/2014-2 dated 01.07.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 3 & 4 from evicting the petitioners in the tenanted premises Door No.256, Velacherry Road, New No.2, Nagaraja Iyer Street , East Tambaram, Chennai-600 059 without due process of law.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 07.12.2021, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 09.12.2021 under the caption "For Dismissal".
2. Even today, i.e. on 13.12.2021, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.20972 of 2014 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
