PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in relating to File No.1235/2016 (Admn) / Ne.Co. P. dated 01.12.2016 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to issue fresh Notification giving due importance to the petitioner, as assured by learned Additional Government Pleader earlier, and to mention relevant particulars in the tender notification and to consider importance to the experienced eligible candidates.

The Tender Notification issued on 01.12.2016 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The period of tender itself is for one year. The writ petition is pending for about 5 years. Thus, the issues raised became vanished.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondents are not following the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act. It is made clear that the authorities competent are bound to follow the procedures as contemplated under the provisions of the said Act in all respects and in the event of any violation, appropriate actions are to be initiated against all the officials, who are accountable for such violations.

4. As far as the present writ petition is concerned, on account of efflux of time, the issues lost its relevance and therefore, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
