O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for having willfully disobeyed the order passed by this Court on 30.07.2024, made in W.P.Nos.29127 & 29196 of 2019, whereby this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Joint Commissioner (CT) and in case if any of the junior of the petitioner is promoted to the post of Joint Commissioner (CT) prior to 28.01.2014, and to extend the benefit of such promotion with effect from the date of promotion of such junior.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the case of the petitioner was considered by the respondents, concluding that none of the juniors of the petitioner were promoted to the post of Joint Commissioner (CT) prior to 28.01.2014, and thus the claim of the petitioner was rejected by issuing a Memorandum No.CP3/5360221/2023 dated 01.04.2025. In view of the same, there is no violation in the order passed by this Court.

3. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands dismissed. 12.06.2025 cda 2/4
