This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10 percentage interest to the petitioners. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10 percentage interest to the petitioners."

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners joined the service of the respondent corporation as Helper Trainee and Drivers on various dates and retired from service in the years 2024 and 2025, respectively. Subsequently, the 15th Wage Settlement was entered into between the Management and the Trade Unions on 29.05.2025, pursuant to which the wages and pension were also revised with effect from 01.09.2023. Since the petitioners had retired in the years 2024 and 2025, they are entitled to the difference in leave salary, gratuity and pension arrears as per the 15th Wage Settlement. Accordingly, the petitioners submitted a representation seeking difference in leave salary, gratuity and pension arrears as per the 15th wage settlement dated

29.05.2025. However, the said representation has not been considered so far.

4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears as per the 15th Wage Settlement, together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
