O R D E R

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though the premises owned by him is leased to the third respondent, no rent has been paid from 27.03.2013 up to 31.07.2015 and considering the fact that he is aged about 76 years, prays for appropriate orders.

2. Per contra, Mr.R.Govindasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a Government Order in G.O.Ms.2D.No.50, Commercial Tax and Registration Department, dated 04.07.2016 fixing the monthly rent for a period between 27.03.2013 and 31.07.2015 and would submit that in the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. This Court after considering the rival submissions, directs the first respondent to pay the amount due and payable under the above cited Government Order, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
