ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.07.2021 within the stipulated time.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the Manager of Sriram Transport Finance Company at Attur Branch and one Dharmaraj had availed vehicle loan for his vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN-64-E-8300, but he failed to make the monthly EMI payments and there is a due of Rs.3,84,842/-. When the said Dharmaraj was contacted by our filed staff Manikandan to make the due payments, he abused and threatened him. Thereafter, the said Dharmaraj came to the office with his son and abused and attempted to assault him and also broken the glasses and belongings worth about Rs.13 lakhs. Thereafter, Emergency Police No.100 was called and informed about the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

incident. Despite the cognizable offence has been made out, no case has been registered.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner's complaint was received and on the same day CSR.No.299 of 2021 was assigned and enquiry is in progress. The said Dharmaraj has also lodged a counter complaint against the petitioner's company and CSR.No.230 of 2021 has been assigned and in this case also enquiry is under progress. He further submitted that in both the cases, after enquiry if a case is made out, necessary action will be taken by the respondent police.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
