O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to consider the complaint given by the petitioner on 11.06.2023 and to take action against the accused persons in accordance with law and also to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2.Heard Mr.Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for R1 to R4 and Mr.Anirudh Krishnan, learned counsel for R5.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an FIR came to the registered in Cr.No.116 of 2023 against the accused persons for offence u/s.147, 448, 427, 323, 506(ii) IPC r/w 379 IPC.

4.In view of the above development, it is left open to the respondent Police to proceed further with the investigation in Crime No.116 of 2023. It is also left open to the respondent Police to consider the request made by the petitioner seeking for police protection after enquiring the parties and a decision in this regard shall be taken by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
