PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for an issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records on the file of the 3rd respondent relating to the impugned order dated 27.9.2013 bearing Ref. 2892/EE/SUBMN/2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Conductor as by treating him as within the age limit pursuant to the notification dated 31.7.2013 and appoint him as Conductor upon being successful in accordance with law.

The order impugned dated 27.09.2013 states that the writ petitioner was over aged during the relevant point of time when the selection process was conducted. The name of the writ petitioner was not sponsored by the District Employment Exchange as he was over aged. This apart, the selection was of the year 2013 and now, after a lapse of about 9 years, the petitioner is not entitled for the relief. More so, even at the time of the selection, the petitioner was over aged and his name was not sponsored by the District Employment Exchange. 2.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
