ORDER

It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter by name K.Keerthana has completed four years in B.Sc.(Nursing) in the second respondent college.

It appears that the petitioner's daughter has failed in two subjects in the fourth semester. Though she has completed the four years course, she was not allowed to write the arrears

of examination. Hence the petitioner made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 19.10.2015, seeking to return his daughter's mark sheets and issue transfer certificate followed by another representation to the 2nd respondent dated 05.11.2015. As the said representations are yet to be considered, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent, who is the competent authority, has submitted that there is no bar for the petitioner's daughter to write the examination since she has completed the course with adequate attendance.

Considering the above submission, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and permit the petitioner's daughter to appear for the examination to be conducted by the 1st respondent on payment of the prescribed examination fees. It is needless to state that after the petitioner's daughter completes her course, she is entitled to receive all the documents from the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent shall issue the hall ticket to the petitioner's daughter immediately.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
