ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 11.11.2025 to issue a separate patta for the petitioner in Survey No.48 measuring an extent of 0.75 cents in Santhapoondi Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. According to the petitioner, there was a partition between the family members by virtue of the partition deed dated 16.03.2015. Based on the said partition deed, the petitioner filed an online application dated 11.11.2025 for the purpose of issuance of separate patta and also surveying the properties. Since no steps have been taken, the present writ petition is filed.

3. In reply, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the official respondents would submit that the petitioner's online application dated 11.11.2025 will be disposed of by the respondents within a time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' online application dated 11.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same taking into consideration the registered partition deed dated 16.03.2015 and take steps to survey the property and issue separate patta to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
