ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the information report dated 09.03.2015 pending on his file, the petitioners have come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. From a perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that on account of union rivalry, a complaint has been lodged by one Prabudoss and two others to the Inspector of Police on 9.3.2015. The CSR enclosed discloses that the complainant is one V.Muthu Kumar. As far as the petitioners are concerned, there are three petitioners before this Court.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioners are given liberty to give a fresh complaint to the respondent police. On receipt of the same, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
