PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent namely the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 31.05.2023 submitted by the petitioner to direct the Inspector of Police, Peranamallur to issue "No Objection Certificate" in respect of the vehicle namely "Bolero" bearing
Reg.No.TN.09G-2187 belong to the Chairman of Anakkavur Panchayat Union that the vehicle is no longer required for further investigation in connection with the case in Crime No.52/2016 on the file of Peranamallur Police Station.

ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent namely the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 31.05.2023 submitted by the petitioner to direct the Inspector of Police, Peranamallur to issue "No Objection Certificate" in respect of the vehicle namely "Bolero" bearing Reg.No.TN.09G-2187 belong to the Chairman of Anakkavur Panchayat Union that the vehicle is no longer required for further investigation in connection with the case in Crime No.52/2016 on the file of Peranamallur Police Station. 2.It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is the Chairman of Anakkavur Panchayat Union, Thiruvannamalai District and she was provided with a vehicle Bolero bearing Registration No. TN.09G-2187. It met with an accident. As per the report of the motor
vehicle Inspector, the damaged vehicle cannot be used in the public road. To buy a new vehicle, vehicle owner should enclose documents such as First Information Report, motor vehicle Inspector's report, No Objection Certificate from the concerned investigation officer that the vehicle is not further needed for investigation and a certificate from the vehicle owning officer that the accident claim and losses to Government has taken care of. Petitioner approached the respondents for issuance of No Objection Certificate that the vehicle is not needed for investigation purpose. Till now, the third respondent has not issued No Objection Certificate, necessitating filing of this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2023, would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4.In view of the submission of learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court directs the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders in the manner
known to law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
