This writ petition has been filed to quash the Notification, dated 28/3/2014 issued by the third respondent in his Telex Message R.II-25/2011 RECTT (HC LDCE - 11 in so far as item No.19 is concerned and to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue as Head Constable/GD to the post of Constable in the force.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the reversion order of the petitioner has since been cancelled, nothing further survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, it is open to him to work out his remedy in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.Ps are closed.
