2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.This Court, by order dated 12.03.2015 in W.P.No.19374 of 2007 (O.A.No.6372 of 2002) has passed the following order: "When the matter was taken up, Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that subsequently the issue decided in favour of Mr.D.George was reversed by this Court in W.P.No.3159 of 1999. However, on being aggrieved by the reversion order, the said Mr.D.George also took up the matter to the Apex Court and the same, it appears, is pending. On this basis, he prayed for some more time to get instructions.
This Court is not inclined to grant any more adjournment. Since the issue decided in favour of Mr.D.George was reversed by this Court in W.P.No.3159 of 1999, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs."
4.In the light of the order stated supra and since the issue involved in this petition is of similar in nature, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
