Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to call for records in S.C.No.40 of 2014 on the file of learned Fast Track Court, Mahila Court, Vellore and quash the same. For Petitioners : Mr.R.Karthikeyan For Respondents : Mr.M.Mohammed Riyaz, G.A.(Crl.side) for R1 Mr.B.Janakiram for R2 ***** C O M M O N O R D E R In Crl.M.P.No.1362 of 2017, the parties have filed a memorandum of compromise dated 16.02.2016, informing terms of settlement of dispute. The same interalia informs that proceedings in D.V.A.No.3 of 2013 on the file of learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, G.T. Court, Chennai and in S.C.No.4o of 2014 on the file of Fast Track Court, Mahila Court, Vellore may be quashed.

2. The dispute between the parties being personal in nature, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings in keeping with the memorandum of

compromise.

3. First petitioner and the respondent/defacto complainant are present as are their counsel. They are in agreement that all payments due to the respondent/defacto complainant in keeping with the memorandum of compromise dated 16.02.2016 has been received. In the circumstances, the criminal original petitions are allowed and the proceedings in D.V.A.No.3 of 2013 on the file of learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, G.T.Court, Chennai and in S.C.No.40 of 2014 on the file of Fast Track Court, Mahila Court, Vellore shall stand quashed. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. The compromise memo dated 16.02.2016 shall form part of the records.
