ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.31 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and to file the final report and punish the accused in accordance with law. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 2nd respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 12.01.2016, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months. 5.In view of the above, the 2nd respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
