(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard on the application seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal.

2. The reasons for the delay in filing the appeal and even on the facts of the case have been given in detail. Taking into consideration the aforesaid and the intervening period due to Covid-19 pandemic, we find reasons to consider the application for condoning the delay and as otherwise, the application is not seriously opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. Accordingly, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned and the application is allowed.

4. The learned counsel on both sides have shown urgency for hearing of the appeal as contempt petition is pending before the learned Single Judge.

Accordingly, let the appeal be numbered, if otherwise in order and listed before this Court on 12.08.2022. The copy of the writ appeal be served on the learned counsel appearing for the respondent during the course of the day.
