Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 06.07.2023.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the owners of the land situated in Kunnathur Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengelpet District in Old Survey No.44/5, New Survey No.44/5B to an extent of 89 cents out of 1 acre, 32 cents, out of which an extent of 1241 Sq.m. has been acquired by the 3rd respondent. 2/6

Though the Award has been passed for the aforesaid acquisition, compensation amount has not been disbursed till date. In this regard, the petitioners made a representation to the respondents on 06.07.2023. As the representation submitted by the petitioners on 06.07.2023 is kept pending till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent concerned will consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

5. Heard both sides. Perused the records.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 06.07.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioners and after 3/6

affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the persons concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

8. WMP.No.19550 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners to file separate Writ Petition is ordered.
