ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed praying to direct the 2nd respondent to give required police protection to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Petitioner and his men to carry out quarrying activities in the areas leased out to the petitioner under the proceedings of the 1st respondent in his Na.Ka.Aa./Mines and Minerals/160/2013 dated 20.04.2014.
2. Today when the matter is taken up, a counter affidavit is filed by the 4th respondent, wherein, in paragraph 6, it is averred as under:- "6. I submit that as per the averments, the permission granted to the petitioner for quarrying and carrying away minor minerals expired on 19th day of October 2015. In view of the lease period has been completed, the petitioner has no right to quarry and carry minor minerals. I submit that the Petition filed by the Petitioner becomes infructuous and not maintainable."
3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
