This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.629 of 2013 dated 13.08.2013 on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that Additional Sessions Court, Tambaram has taken cognizance of the matter and the case is committed for trial in S.C.No.94 of 2018. He further submitted that the enquiry has been completed and a final report has been filed before the trial Court.

3. It is seen that the case has been taken cognizance of the Additional Sessions Court, Tambaram in S.C.No.94 of 2018 and trial is pending. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
