Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the pending retirement benefits viz., encashment of earned leave, surrender leave, special provident fund and general provident fund amount of Rs.2,61,927/- with interest and also to pay the interest for belated payment of pension and DCRG within time frame.

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner fairly made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition selection of the retirement benefits are settled by the respondents and the balance payments are yet to be settled.

In this regard, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 24.03.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation and all other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in the present writ petition.
