This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to transfer the Patta in respect of the property measuring an extent of acre 1.15 comprised in New Survey No. 4/3A Su.Kulathur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District to the petitioner's name pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2020. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.10.2020, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the transfer of patta in his favour with respect to the subject property.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the third respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 18.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the third respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
