Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus or writ or direction, directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue online Natham Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of his land situated in Natham S.No.77/3,Kazhiyappanallur village, Tharangamabadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District to an extent of 1280 sq.mt.within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue online Natham Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of his land situated in Natham S.No.77/3,Kazhiyappanallur village, Tharangamabadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that already patta has been issued in favour of the petitioner on 09.05.2022 and that the petitioner requires only on-line patta to enable him to take further process in respect of his property.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the respondents has issued proceedings on 28.04.2025 for conducting an enquiry on 16.05.2025 and that final orders will be passed within a period of six weeks.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the fact that patta was already issued in favour of the petitioner and that the request of the petitioner to issue online Natham Patta has been 2/5

considered and proceedings have been issued fixing the date of enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondents to pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
