ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 296(b), 308(5), 109, 351(3) of BNS r/w Section 25(1)(a) of Arms Act, in Crime No.84 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail. Page No.1 of 4

2. The case of the prosecution is that since the de facto complainant refused to pay the rowdy mamool, the accused had abused him in filthy language and attempted to assault him with knife. Hence the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/A2 is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed on him. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stating that several previous cases are pending against the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, taking note of the nature of allegation, previous antecedents of the Page No.2 of 4

petitioner and also considering that the custody of the petitioner is very much required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
