ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent police to some other investigating agency, preferably, the Inspector CBCID/Crime Investigation Department at Ariyalur or any other agency. 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, investigation in Crime No.12 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 294(b), 407, 409, 420 and 506(I) of IPC is completed and final report was also filed as "Mistake of Fact". RCS Notice was also served on the petitioner and produced before the Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that investigation in this case is completed and final report is also filed as "Mistake of Fact", this Court is of the view that, prayer seeking transfer of investigation cannot be entertained.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the closure report, if petitioner deems fit.
